I took Claire to freshman orientation at Gallatin High School last week! She let me take this one lovely picture out in the parking lot beforehand.
The principal talked to the parents about registration and credits and things, while the counselors took the kids on a tour of the school and told them about the types of classes they can take, clubs, sports, etc.
We meet with her counselor later this month to register her for classes. She’s excited but also nervous. It’s a big school and she has been going virtual for the past year and a half, but she knows most of the 9th graders who will be going there. She wants to take digital art classes and be in the art club, and she also wants to participate in theater if she can work it into her schedule.
