James and I finally got to see inside the kids’ new school during open house last night. Well I saw it – James is still recovering from eye surgery and things are a bit blurry, ha!
The kids were excited to give us a tour so that we could see their classrooms and meet their teachers.
Claire is really enjoying her Culinary Arts class and plans to take the next level class, where she’ll get to participate in cooking competitions. This term they have made scones, muffins, cookies, cinnamon rolls, baguettes, pasta salad, chicken and rice. They are going to make pies next month.
Ben did not like his music teacher in elementary school and it turned him off from music class altogether. But this term he had a fantastic music teacher who taught him to play the ukulele, so his opinion has changed.
