We drove down to Alabama this weekend to visit family. We haven’t been able to see them in over a year, but now all of the adults have been vaccinated.
We went to James’ parents’ for lunch, and then to his godmother Sally’s house for dinner. We spent the night at his brother Pat’s house, and Ben enjoyed driving around in their golf cart this morning.
We stopped by my mom’s house this afternoon and saw her and my brother Dave. He surprised her for her birthday this weekend by flying in from Seattle. He’s staying the entire week, and they are going to a Rocket City Trash Pandas baseball game (that team name cracks me up).
