Earlier this month Ben played in his first piano recital. He has been taking lessons since April from our neighbor Maria (who Claire also took lessons from) and has picked it up very quickly and enjoys playing.
The recital was at a church about 30 minutes away from our house. We had driven about halfway when I realized that Ben had forgotten to bring his sheet music! We turned around and sped home to get it, and were late to the recital. I was flustered but Ben was cool as a cucumber and played his songs beautifully.
