Claire is taking a culinary arts class at school, and sent me this text yesterday describing their first lesson on chopping with kitchen knives.
Later the principal posted some pics of the class, which do not match up at all with Claire’s horrific recounting of the day’s events. She told me this photo was taken “before” all of the accidents.
Today they are going to attempt to chop vegetables. I suggested that she wear a red shirt today, ha! Besides learning to cook she is also getting some fantastic first aid training.
