One of the boys who came to Ben’s birthday sleepover had a headache after the movie and didn’t feel well that night. A few days later the other boy started running a fever. On Friday Ben was really congested, so we gave him an at-home COVID test and it was positive. The other two boys ended up testing positive also.
Claire started feeling sick over the weekend, and Ben said his throat was hurting worse, so on Tuesday I took them both to the pediatrician. Claire tested positive for COVID, and Ben also tested positive for strep. James and I ended up getting COVID as well, and Claire also caught strep. So we have been hunkered down at home all week, trying to get everyone well.
On Thursday it snowed about 9 inches! Chef Ben has been making lots of snow ice cream.
