This weekend we drove up to Louisville, KY to attend a Harry Potter dinner. It was cool! The event was held inside a big tent that was decorated to look like the Hogwarts Great Hall. There were actors who did a performance in between courses.
We brought our scarves and wands, and made up funny spells. James came up with “trippus shoelaceous” and Claire said “yeetus deletus”, which one of the actors overheard and announced to everyone.
We stayed at a hotel downtown and ate breakfast there the next morning.
We drove by the Louisville Slugger Factory to see the big bat. Ben said “Oh, it’s a baseball bat. I thought it was going to be a giant bat, like the animal.” 🦇
We drove across the Ohio River into Indiana, so that the kids could add another state to their “been to” list.
